Originally formed in 2005 as a community project, Dalriadian was designed to support Scottish heritage and culture, through the promotion of the past, present and future of Scotland. Since 2005, Dalriadian has been involved in some very exciting projects, some of which have been incorporated into this updated website.

In 2009, Dalriadian became a Limited Company, using some specialist skills of its remaining members to expand Dalriadian's interests, both historically and commercially. The expansion involved the company broadening its skill and knowledge base, to the extent that Dalriadian Ltd can now offer far more than it was able to in 2005, whilst still retaining the Historical aspect that was the original founders' ethos.
